Keep Your Eye on the Prize

I finally get it.

I understand at long last why so many people throughout time have said to keep your eye on the price. Perhaps I thought it was just something people said to make you believe that hardwork pays off.

Now I see that keeping your eye on the prize means to never loose site of your vision.

If you take your eye of the prize you may become distracted and ineffective, Slowwing you down if not derailing your dream altogether.

Keeping your eye on the prize means keeping a clear vision of your goal in your mind.

If you take your eye off the prized your vision may blur and fade away and you may abandon your dream.

I also realize that my own failure to keep my eye on the prize, any prize, has been an obsticle in achieving certain goals in my life.

Fortunetly wishing for something keeps a concious eye on the ball even when you don’t realize you have an eye on the ball.

That’s what I am just getting, just begining to understand, that keeping one wish predominetly in your mind keeps you focused keeps you navigating toward your wish. You go where you think you become what you desire as long as you never loose site of what that is.
